All the glitz and glamour of the Roaring 20s’ is promised at the Hills Relay For Life Ball at Castle Hill RSL on June 4th.
A packed program of entertainment has been planned with plenty of dancing in the mix. The annual ball is known for its fabulous prizes and silent auction. Retro rock band The Breakaways are back by popular demand, there will be dancers plus singers David Sanders and Christina Kinley.
Tickets are $150 and include a three-course meal, drinks package and entertainment. All money raised will go to the Cancer Council.
The past 13 events have raised over $500,000 for cancer research and support programs. Hills Relay Ball co-founder Bev Jordan said it would be a sparkling event.
“When Zoe Graham and I held the first Hills Relay Ball we were hoping it would be one of many and we are so delighted that we are now holding our 14th Relay Ball. The original idea of the ball was to promote the annual Hills Relay For Life (which is on this weekend May 21st at Castle Hill Showground) but the first ball was so popular we held another, then another and another!
“We are incredibly grateful to the people who have supported the Hills Relay Ball every year and to the amazing local businesses that help make it shine from the wonderful florist and our great entertainers to the businesses and organisations who donate prizes and come on board as sponsors.
We have had many people involved in organising this event over the years and Zoe and I are incredibly grateful to MC Michael Graham and our hard-working committee Donna Craig, Denise Daynes, Robin George, Linda Jones and Jan Mullan and Bryan Mullan.
“This will be our last Hills Relay Ball and it promises to be a dazzling event so please come along if you want a great night out.”
There are a few spare tickets. RSVP by May 23rd. For more details email Donna Craig at [email protected] or call 0418 297 783.
