Road Closures Update
The following roads in The Hills are currently closed due to flood waters
- Cattai Ridge Road at Cattai Creek in Glenorie
- Wisemans Ferry Road at Cattai Creek in Cattai
- Wisemans Ferry Road at Little Cattai Creek in Cattai
- McClymonts Road at Cattai Creek in Kenthurst/Maraylya
- Mud Island Road at the intersection of Chapel Hill Road in Sackville North
- River Road between Sackville Ferry Road and Cliftonville Road – North of Dargle, 315 River Road
- River Road between Sackville Ferry Road and Cliftonville Road – South of Riviera Ski Gardens, 1106 River Road
- River Road between Cliftonville Road and Wisemans Ferry – North of Leets Vale Caravan Park, 2082 River Road
- River Road between Cliftonville Road and Wisemans Ferry – South of Douglass Creek, 2224 River Road
The ferries at Sackville, Lower Portland, Webbs Creek and Wisemans Ferry are also not in operation. River levels are slowly falling which is fantastic news for our residents.
The Bureau of Meteorology advises that the Hawkesbury River at Sackville was at 4.39m at 8:30am this morning, down from 5.56m at 4am yesterday. The Hawkesbury River at Lower Portland was at 2.98m at 8:30am this morning, down from 4.25m at 4am yesterday morning.
