Richmond Lions Club Inspiring Event

Richmond Lions Club had a rather busy day today, with their team members in two different places. Some of their members actually managed to attend both.

Their club was also proud to host an Area Final for the Lions Australia Youth of the Year program, which is always an inspiring event. Thanks to our judges, the 4 finalists, their family and school representatives who made the trip to Windsor today.

Thanks to Hawkesbury City Council for the use Tebbutt Room for the event which involved individual in interviews during the morning, and public speaking section after lunch.All four contestants presented extremely well, with all in the audience leaving with plenty to think about.

Congratulations to these impressive young people; Janice Arul Selvan from Montgrove College at Orchard Hills won the Public Speaking award, and Milee Patel from Blacktown Girls High School took out the Overall Winner prize.
