The National Messaging System (NMS) delivers instant prioritised emergency messages to virtually all mobile devices in a defined geographic area regardless of who their mobile service is with.
The NMS has the ability to momentarily “take over” your screen to ensure the messages are seen and so they can’t be mistaken for scams or spam messages.
It’s an emergency communications system that will help keep us safe when we need it most.
And, of course, continuing to get services to the remaining black spots is the other essential part of getting these messages out.
