Reclaim The Night
A community Reclaim the Night Event will be held at the heart of Castle Hill on Friday, November 22nd between 4.30pm and 7.30pm.
Organised by Castle Hill Rotary Club and District 9685, the evening will provide a chance to hear from survivors and service providers and join a 1km walk around Castle Hill CBD.
Schools, civic leaders, police and community members will be joining Rotarians for the event which will start at the entrance to Castle Hill Metro and will finish with a barbecue
Reclaim the Night is a global movement advocating for women’s safety in public spaces, workplaces, and homes. Originating in the UK during the 1970s, this event stands against all forms of violence towards women and their families. Wear purple to show your support and unite to say NO to domestic and family violence and YES to respectful relationships. Free Registration on the link provided.
When: Friday November 22nd. Meet at 4.30pm for a 5pm start.
