Police appeal to locate missing girl from North Richmond
UPDATE: As of this writing, Wednesday, 31 July 2024, Jayla has been located and is fine and well, according to the Hawkesbury Police Area Command.
NSW Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a girl missing from the Hawkesbury area. Jayla Ngatikaura, aged 13, was last seen at 3 pm Sunday (28 July 2024) in North Richmond.
When she was unable to be located or contacted, officers attached to Hawkesbury Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.
Police and family hold concerns for her welfare due to her young age.
Jayla is described as being of Pacific Islander/Maori appearance, 155cm tall, with black hair.
When last seen, she was wearing a grey hooded jumper and black tights.
Jayla is known to frequent the Mt Druitt, Liverpool, and Newcastle areas.
Anyone with information into her whereabouts is urged to call Windsor Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
