Seniors Gaining Confidence with Online Banking at Computer Pals for Seniors – The Hills

Online banking can open up a world of convenience for older Australians—yet many are unsure where to start. In 2028, everyone will need it. That’s why Computer Pals for Seniors – The Hills is offering friendly, step-by-step sessions to help seniors learn the basics in a relaxed, supportive setting.

Participants will discover how to check balances, pay bills, transfer money, and stay safe online—all at their own pace. Member Keith Wood has created a dummy banking website for students to practice at their leisure. There’s no pressure, no confusing jargon, and plenty of time for questions.

“Learning these skills isn’t just practical—it gives people more independence and peace of mind,” says trainer Ross Partridge.

Whether you’re brand new to online banking or simply need a refresher, you’ll find a welcoming space to learn with others who understand.

The next ‘Internet Banking’ session is coming up soon at our Castle Hill Showground venue.
