Mitchell Blue Elected Deputy Mayor of The Hills Shire

Congratulations to Councillor Mitchell Blue who has been elected Deputy Mayor of The Hills Shire Council.

Mitchell will be outstanding in the role, being incredibly well respected by his Council colleagues, staff, community groups and the residents he fights for on a daily basis.

Councillor Blue has a wonderful background as the Founding the Chairperson of the Friends of Glenhaven, a Senior Volunteer Firefighter at the Glenhaven Rural Fire Brigade and a past chair of the Glenhaven Carols.

Mitchell will do an incredible job and I’m looking forward to working with him in his new role as Deputy Mayor.

I would also like to say a big thank you to Mark Hodges who did an outstanding job as Deputy Mayor and leaves big shoes for Mitchell to fill.
