Meet Jordan Fenbow

Our Australia Day image (right) was designed by 18-year-old Jordan Fenbow from Kellyville, a graphic design student.

The former Kellyville High student featured in the Hills to Hawkesbury Community News in 20021 when her design for the NRL’s Crazy Sock Day was chosen.

The Crazy Sock round raises money for the Men of League Foundation and in 2021 all 6,000 pairs her sock design sold out.

While the 2020 campaign which was postponed due to COVID NRL First Graders played in the socks in 2022.

At the time the 16-year-old told the Hills to Hawkesbury Community News that she was motivated to enter the design competition because, as a long-time Oztag player and Kellyville Bushranger player, it enabled her to combine her love of sport with her love of creative design.

She said: “When I was told by email that I had won the Crazy Socks design competition, I could not believe it and had to read it a few times for it to sink in.”

Congratulations to Jordan for her contribution in this issue. Our publication is supporting young and emerging graphic designers so Jordan will be a regular contributor.
