Man in critical condition after alleged assault – Windsor

The NSW Police Force reports that a man is in critical condition following an alleged assault at a motel in Windsor.

At about 12:40 AM today (Tuesday, 4 June 2024), emergency services were called to a motel on George Street, Windsor, following reports a man was being assaulted in a motel room.

On arrival, officers attached to Hawkesbury Police Area Command found a 27-year-old man with severe head injuries.

He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics and taken to Westmead in a critical condition.

A 53-year-old man has been taken to Windsor Police Station, where he is assisting police with inquiries.

Police have established a crime scene and commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
