Man, 61, Has Passed Away after West Pennant Hills Car Crash

At approximately 5:45 AM on Thursday, 14th November 2024, officers from The Hills Police Area Command responded to a single-vehicle accident on Highs Road, West Pennant Hills.

The Police are saddened to report that the driver, a 61-year-old man, passed away yesterday, 5th December 2024. A report is being prepared for the coroner.

On Thursday last month, the vehicle was travelling northbound and lost control around a bend, mounted the gutter, and collided with a tree, causing significant front-end damage.

The driver was injured. Emergency services, including police, firefighters, and paramedics, arrived promptly.

Firefighters assisted in opening the vehicle to allow paramedics to treat the driver, who was then transported to Westmead Hospital.
