Local Roads Repair Program
The Hills Shire Council has completed road repairs of over 170 locations across The Hills thanks to the Regional and Local Roads Repair Program (RLRRP).
Our crews and contractors have worked relentlessly to improve the quality of the road network throughout The Hills, and our residents are very appreciative of their efforts which have made a real difference.
I would like to thank the previous State Government for setting up the RLRRP, and in particular I would like to acknowledge the member for Hawkesbury Robyn Preston MP for being instrumental in seeing The Hills receive $11.1 million for pothole and extensive patch repairs.
The program was initiated after I gathered Western Sydney Mayors in calling for greater support to improve the condition of roads statewide, and the outcome has been a fantastic one for our residents. We will continue to work to further improve our roads in the years ahead.
