Live at Alive

Alive 90.5 has been recognised by the Community Broadcasting Association of Australia as one of 5 community stations to receive a grant aimed at invigorating the live music industry in NSW.

It is the only Sydney station to be given the honour and plans are well underway with the Riverside Theatre booked for the event on Saturday 21st June which is World Make Music Day.

There is a great line up of entertainment including Like Angels, Sarah Bernardo, D Minor, Joel Turner, Antoun, Kulcha, Reuben De Melo (Winner of the Voice 2024), Duncan Toombs and the DJ is Raul Hernandez. It means a diverse range of music genres including acoustic pop soft rock, hip hop, r’n’b and soul, country and Reggae.

Tickets are limited, cost $33 and are available on the Riverside Theatre web site. This event is not aiming for a profit but rather providing experience to many people on how to organise such an event, so if it’s successful there will be other concerts organised to provide young up and coming performers and especially bands with the opportunity to play to live audiences.

This is all about supporting the music industry in our area so why not organise family and friends to attend the show. Doors open at 5.30pm.
