Requirement
• 3-5 years’ experience in production/fabrication roles
• Exceptional understanding of metal fabrication techniques
• Understanding of continuous improvement processes and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, meet deadlines, and stay within budget
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• Staff training skills
• Ability to work overtime as needed

Responsibilities
• Support the Production Team to set & achieve labour efficiency and quality goals.
• Assist with work planning and organization to maximize efficiency.
• Promote a high-quality manufacturing culture and maintain exceptional quality standards.
• Coordinate production planning with the supply department for raw material provision.
• Assist with cross-training programs to ensure manpower coverage.
• Report personnel issues to the Production Manager.
• Support the implementation of the company’s WH&S programs.
• Participate in production performance and planning meetings.
• Assist the Production Manager in refining operating costs (overtime, waste reduction, productivity measures).
• Ensure a high level of safety and working conditions by identifying and removing hazards and conducting monthly Tool Box meetings.
• Provide technical advice and assistance to the team.
• Maintain strong relationships with key vendors and suppliers.
• Support the correct specification of scheduled sales orders through collaboration with production, sales & admin teams.
