Interstate Homicide Arrest

Fairway Dr, Norwest – About 2am on Tuesday 8 February 2022, a 39yo male from Norwest was arrested by members of Strikeforce Raptor.

The 39yo male was wanted on an arrest warrant issued in Queensland, relating to a murder in 2009. The 39yo male was bail refused at Parramatta Local Court, to be extradited to Queensland.

Great Western Hwy, Parramatta – About 12:45pm on Tuesday 8 February 2022, the Commander of The Hills PAC sighted a male riding an unregistered trailbike on the Great Western Highway. The Commander signalled for the rider to stop, however, he took off.

A short pursuit occurred before being terminated. The rider, an 18yo male from Northmead, was found a short time later on the nature strip after coming off the trail bike. The commander arrested the 18yo male after a short struggle, with the assistance of a member of the community.

The 18yo male was taken to Parramatta Police Station and charged with several offences. He was granted conditional bail to appear before Parramatta Local Court.
