The Hills Shire Symphony Orchestra Returns with Another Blockbuster Night of Music!
The Hills Shire Symphony Orchestra returns with “Symphonic Heroes” on Saturday, 21st June at 7:30pm at Hills Grammar in Kenthurst. Following a sold-out Cinema Classics concert last year, they’re diving into film and video game scores.
Expect a curated program of memorable music from Hollywood blockbusters by Ennio Morricone and John Williams to iconic video game themes by Koji Kondo from The Legends of Zelda. Conductor Chris Upton highlights the emotional role of these scores, stating, “We’re excited to give that music the spotlight it deserves.”
Adding to the fun, audience members are encouraged to dress as their favorite superheroes for a “Best Dressed” competition, enhancing the interactive experience. The orchestra, known for accessible and engaging performances, anticipates another successful themed event.
