Hills Community Connect

Over 300 people attended the Hills Community Connect event at Castle Hill Showground on Sunday, March 20th.

The four-hour event featured stands from 40 Hills community groups and services.

The event was organised by Norwest Sunrise Rotary Club with a grant from Hills Shire Council to give residents an opportunity to connect with the many varied groups in the area under one roof and for the groups to meet each other.

Visitors included Hill Shire Mayor Peter Gangemi, Deputy Mayor Mark Hodges and councillors Frank De Masi, Mitchell Blue and Rosemarie Boneham plus Rotary 9685 District Governor Linday May and his wife Tania Mace.

All stallholders went into a draw for a double pass for the Pavilion Theatre donated by Castle Hill Players.

Norwest Sunrise Rotary Club plans to make Community Connect an annual event.
