Head-on Collision on Gilbert Road, Castle Hill

The Hills Police Area Command reported a serious head-on collision at 10:31 AM today on Gilbert Road, near the Castle Hill Cemetery.

A driver who witnessed the crash immediately called Triple Zero.

Emergency Services, fire, and police crews were activated and attended the scene. According to the police, CareFlight was called to provide immediate medical assistance.

The Gilbert Road was closed in both directions between Tuckwell and Ridgecrop. It reopened at 11:53 AM.

“The parties involved in the collision have been taken to the hospital in stable condition…,” the Hills PAC reported.
