HCC seeks your say on Frank Mason Reserve’s new playground
There will be a new playground at the Frank Mason Reserve, Windsor, and the Hawkesbury City Council wants the community’s say on a proposal to replace the existing one.
A survey, covering everything from how residents access the park on McQuade Avenue to what kind of play equipment they want, is now available at www.yourhawkesbury-yoursay.com.au/frank-mason.
This exciting playground upgrade is scheduled for the 2025/2026 financial year.
According to the Hawkesbury Council, the community’s feedback will be used to develop a detailed plan for the new playground, which will then be placed on exhibition.
“Works will include shade, seats, drinking fountain, bin, carpark resurfacing and connections to the pathway from the car park. The softfall will be a combination of much with rubber in key wear areas and the design will incorporate a connection to Country.”
As this project is for Hawkesbury residents, the Council says it is important that they hear from the users of this park to ensure that they deliver the playground that meets the needs of the community.
Hawkesbury locals are also encouraged to answer the survey about the Bounty Reserve’s playground.
