Hawkesbury River Ferry Road to Close for Repairs

Hawkesbury River via Sackville Ferry Road will be temporarily closed from 9:00am to 2:30pm, Monday 13th February – Friday 17th February for repairs.

Repairs are required to ensure the safety of patrons and staff of Sackville Ferry Repairs will include:

– The removal of soil
– Removal of flood-damaged timber retaining wall
– Building of a new sandstone retaining wall and
– Replacement of asphalt on the road at the Maroota approach

Work hours have been scheduled to reduce disturbance to community members travelling to and from work or school. The ferry service will ressmain open during other hours.
