The workshop starts at 10:00 AM and ends at noon. Slots can be booked online via Eventbrite: Composting Workshop – Hawkesbury. Deerubbin Centre is located at 300 George Street, Windsor, NSW.

It is part of the Council’s Living Sustainability strategy, through the process of achieving net zero emissions plans, urban green strategies, plans and programs.

Also guided by the adopted Net Zero Emissions and Water Efficiency Strategy, the Council seeks to achieve net zero. Therefore, it developed six strategies to make Hawkesbury Local Government Area more sustainable.

Named ‘Towards a zero-waste community,’ the fourth strategy intends to rethink waste as a resource and diversion of waste and a circular economy approach.
