Hawkesbury City Council: Free First Aid Training for Youth
Training include practical life-saving skills such as CPR.
The Hawkesbury City Council Recovery Team has arranged for Embrace First Aid to deliver accredited First Aid training for 12 to 18-year-old Hawkesbury residents.
The training will provide learners with life skills such as first aid, CPR, and providing essential emergency life support.
The Hawkesbury City Council will provide the First Aid courses for free.
Limited places are available for the two sessions, which will be held from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Windsor on Saturday, 29 July and Saturday, 28 October 2023.
Successful completion of the face-to-face practical training will provide participants with the following units of competency:
- HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
- HLTAID010 Provides basic emergency life support
- HLTAID011 Provide first aid.
