Diwali Festival of Light events well attended

Many events have been taking place across the Hills and Hawkesbury region to celebrate Diwali.

Diwali Festival is celebrated by Hindus, Sikhs, Jains and Newar Buddhists across the globe —  it is the Festival of Lights.

Lasting for five days from the 13th day of the dark half of the lunar month Ashvina to the second day of the light half of the lunar month Karttika.  The Diwali festival generally symbolizes the victory of light over darkness. The third day of Diwali is celebrated on Monday, October 24, 2022.
