Growing Food for Wildlife Working Bee

The Hills Council is looking for additional volunteers for growing food for Wildlife Working Bee and growing food for native animals at Annangrove Community Environment Centre.

Volunteers are growing a variety of natives such as Lilly Pilly and Grevilleas, with the food going to sick, orphaned and injured native animals in the care of local rescue groups.

Thank you to volunteers at the Community Environment Centre, their local wires branches and Sydney Wildlife Rescue for their work on this initiative so far.

The project is held on the second Saturday of the Month from 10am to 1pm, with the next volunteering day being tomorrow the 14th of January.

If you would like to volunteer, please visit council’s website www.thehills.nsw.gov.au and search ‘Growing Food for Wildlife Working Bee
