Glenwood to host Football4all Gala Day
Football NSW’s annual Nova Employment Football4all Gala Day is back at Valentine Sports Park, Glenwood. The event, to be held on Sunday, September 15, is a celebration of people with special needs and disability football programs and is open to all ages and abilities.
Football4all Gala Day was first held back in 2008 and is regarded as one of the most popular events held by FNSW.
The Gala Day will be held from 9am to 3pm at the ‘Home of Football’ in Glenwood. “It creates a support network for volunteers, coaches, parents and players to get involved in inclusion football and experience all its benefits,” a FNSW spokesman said.
Members from the elite ParaMatildas and ParaRoos are scheduled to attend the event along with representatives from A- League clubs Western Sydney Wanderers, Sydney FC, Macarthur FC, and Central Coast Mariners.
The organisers are expecting a full house from all over NSW, including regional participants as far as Wagga Wagga. Young fans have plenty of entertainment outside the field with a police car, fire truck, jumping castle, inflatables and face painting giving them quite a few options to have some fun.
Entry is free and make sure you support these amazing footballers.
