Getting the most from Ancestry online

Are you interested in searching for your ancestors online? Learn how to get the most from Ancestry at a free session provided by Hawkesbury Library Service.

In recent years, it has become much easier to research family history due to the increasing amount of material now available online. Ancestry is one of the most popular online databases for family history researchers and provides instant access to a wide range of unique resources including census records, convict information and electoral rolls for many countries including Australia and the British Isles. Find out what material is available, how to access the Library’s subscription for free as well as hints for searching.
