Fly Past

Up to two C-130J Hercules from No. 37 Squadron at RAAF Richmond and up to three Royal Australian Air Force F-35A Lightning II aircraft from No.

3 Squadron (RAAF Williamtown) are due to conduct a low level flypast over RAAF Base Glenbrook tomorrow (7 April 2022).

The fly past is due over Glenbrook at 11.15am in support of the Air Commander Australia Change of Command parade which will see Air Vice-Marshal Joe Iervasi handing over his command to Air Vice-Marshal Darren Goldie.

The aircraft will approach from the east and pass over RAAF Base Glenbrook at approximately 80 metres above the ground, with the F-35A aircraft travelling at speeds of up to 850 kilometres per hour. Defence media say: “Flying is subject to change due to variables such as air traffic control requirements, weather, and other aviation considerations.”
