FIZZING FUN

Orange Blossom Festival

September will be seen as an Orange glow in the Hills with more than 50 community events spanning 30 days.

It will be the 49th Annual Orange Blossom Festival and it is offering a real feast of fun for all ages from art and BMX bike riding to jazz, a food truck festival, Kenthurst Fair, walks, talks theatre and workshops.

The “zesty’ OBF program opens this weekend with a Wattle Day Walk at Fred Caterson Reserve from 1.30pm to 3.30pm on Saturday and the Positive Steps Towards Mental Health and Wellbeing Expo at Castle Hill Showground on Sunday (8am to 1pm).

The Bella Vista Farm Open Day (9am to 2pm) is also on Sunday and as well as the Free Spirit markets there will be a concert by the Hills Music Academy from 11am to 2pm.

It’s a great opportunity to visit the historic homestead on Elizabeth Macarthur Drive and learn about it’s key role.

We have put together a snap shot of some of the events in the first two weeks but visit www.orangeblossomfestival.com.au to find out more.
