First Aid Training At Oakville

Hawkesbury Mayor, Sarah McMahon, recently attended the Free First Aid Training day provided by the Australian Red Cross.
“It has been a long day, but we are all thrilled that we have now completed the theory and practical components of our First Aid Training. A big thank you to Max from Australian Red Cross and our fabulous staff at Hawkesbury City Council for combining to give this opportunity FOR FREE to Hawkesbury residents. “Sarah McMahon said
Knowing basic first aid is essential and well worth the investment of time, to understand and apply the necessary skills.
As an added bonus, Hawkesbury City Council launched their new ‘Prepared, Informed and Ready’ backpacks today, which contain a First Aid Kit, other survival items and vital information regarding what to do, and what to take with you, in an emergency.
This has all been possible through grant funding and with the desire to build resilience and preparedness in our community after all they have faced in recent years.
There are still two more training sessions to go, so please email [email protected] to register your interest.
There is so much positive work that Hawkesbury Council is doing for our community, including a range of free activities, so please regularly check out their website www.hawkesbury.nsw.gov.au and their Facebook page, for all the info.
