Eco Kidz nature education program a great success.

Eco Kidz is a nature education program for children ages 2-10. Every month, children and their families come along to engage in fun activities that teach and connect children to the natural world.
This program is run at the Annangrove Environment Centre on Currie Avenue, Annangrove. It is held on a Friday of every month from 10-11:30 am.
For their October event, the children had a lovely morning at our “Let’s Make a Clay Tray!” event.
The event begun by reading a book about animals and talking about caring for them and their environment!  Afterwards the group went for a nice, sunny bushwalk to collect some textured items for the craft activity.  Everyone had a turn at making some beautiful, textured trays! (Even the parents got their hands dirty!)
The next Eco Kidz event will be hosted on Friday the 18th of November.
They will be asking question’s such as:
What rubbish goes where? What shouldn’t be in the creek? Can we help our platypus swim safely through the stream?
And there will be colouring in and putting together a crafty creek fish that everybody gets to take home!
This is a great activity for ages 2-10 years.
(Ticket prices: Adults FREE Children $11.50)
