Easter Celebrations on the Farm

By Gisela Horner

BELLA VISTA FARM Easter celebration

BELLA VISTA FARM opened its gates last Sunday 2nd April. With a visit by the Easter Bunny, an Easter Egg Hunt, Easter story time, craft, face painting, a baby animal farm and a visit by the Mayor of Hills Shire, Dr Peter Gangemi, the children’s delight couldn’t be dampened – despite the weather.

Tours were held at the House. The Trash and Treasure stall, Devonshire Teas/Hot Cross Buns and Sausage Sizzle served by the Friends helped to instill the usual warmth emanating from the Farm’s delightful setting.

On a rainy day, it takes on a misty beauty and highlights the majesty of the trees and greenery. Bella Vista Farm is worth a visit at any time. It is situated Corner Elizabeth Macarthur Drive and Norwest Boulevard, Bella Vista. Open the first Sunday of each month (excluding January). Next date is Sunday 7th May 0900-1400 with Heritage Celebrations
