Dural Bowling Club News Robyn Scoble Honoured

Robyn Scoble has been honoured by the Dural Bowling Club with a Life Membership, in recognition of her long service to the club.

A highly-successful and skilled bowler, Robyn won many events both at home and away, including pennant wins and the Dural Major Singles.

Robyn has been a member of the Dural Bowling Club since 2001 and held a number of offices, including president. During that period, when the men’s and women’s clubs decided to amalgamate, she expertly attended to the details of the constitution and practices of a joint men’s and women’s club because the foundation is so important to any organisation.

Robyn stayed on as president of the new venture to make sure it had a solid base and continues to keep in touch with members from the past and checks on members who are absent.
