DISABILITY SERVICES

More than 100 people attended a Disability Forum held at Rouse Hill Town Centre recently.

SSI Ability Links held the forum to provide information on all services for people with intellectual disabilities in the Hills region, enable families and carers to meet service providers and gain new ideas on how to improve their quality of life.

It was run in collaboration with the Hills Shire Council, Local Area Coordinators and the National Disability Coordination Office (NDCO).

Hills Mayor Dr Michelle Byrne supported the event, highlighting the importance of inclusion in the community.

Ability Links NSW (ALNSW) is a program created by the NSW government to support people with disability, their families and carers to live the life they want as valued and equal members of their community.
