Macquarie Park Boathouse Café

This park has a sandy beach area next to the Hawkesbury River which gave us and the kids a great place to swim and cool down in the summer heat. there is plenty of car parking and a cafe with decent food and drink at reasonable prices. There isn’t a lot of shade to be had while you are on the beach but it’s a good little spot to spend a few hours.
