Damien Atkins FAQ

I am Damien Atkins, your Greens candidate for Winston Hills. I have lived in Seven Hills and Toongabbie for the last 6 years. I am a father to two beautiful kids and I want to see a world in which they can thrive.

I am running because the community needs a strong, lifelong advocate for climate action.

I work locally in Smithfield, my kids go to a local early childhood daycare and public school. Seven Hills has so much going for it but it is hindered by the 12 long years of LNP policies. Our area needs fresh ideas, future proof ideas for the betterment of our state.

I will stand for:

• Renters’ rights and more social and actually affordable housing
• Tackling the causes of heatwaves, bushfires and floods
• The improvement of working conditions and pay for our teachers and nurses
• Better roads, schools and healthcare facilities.

The Greens have real, practical and achievable policies that we are going to fight for well after the election. Continued push for pokies reform, strong and well resources ICAC, better public transport and listening to our First Nations communities across the state.
