CURTAIN UP FOR NEW THEATRE

It was a glittering affair at the official opening of The Pioneer Theatre at Castle Hill last week. Blackout Theatre put on a short show with a scattering of songs from their production Singing’ in the Rain.

Guests included artists in forthcoming shows such as the WW1 Concert Keep the Home Fires Burning by Operantics from October 26 to 27, The Hills Harmony Chorus who have a charity concert on November 4 raising money for Lifeline and Spot On Productions which is staging Annie Jr from November 8 to 11.

Mayor Michelle Byrne and fellow councillors declared the 350 plus seat theatre, under Castle Hill Library, officially open.
