Cost of Living Workshops at the Hawkesbury Central Library
The Hawkesbury Central Library will hold three upcoming workshops about the rising cost of living, managing debts, and permaculture on August 2023.
The first workshop is Tenant’s rights on Friday, 4 August (10:00 AM to 11:00 AM) and will cover the rights of a tenant, increasing rent, evictions, and more. Western Sydney Tenants Service will lead the talk on Friday. Reserve via Eventbrite here: COST OF LIVING WORKSHOP SERIES – TENANTS RIGHTS
Western Sydney Community Legal Centre will answer questions and concerns on the legal system and debt on Debts and your rights on Wednesday, 16 August, (2:00 PM to 3:00 PM). Tickets can be reserved here: COST OF LIVING WORKSHOP SERIES – DEBTS AND YOUR RIGHTS.
The last workshop, called Edible Gardens, on 19 August (10:00 AM to 11:00 AM) will be presented by Mick Connolly from Mick’s Garden Shed and Hawkesbury Earthcare Centre. As part of the three-part series, attendees can learn more about permaculture and the alternative ways to save on groceries by growing their food.
