Castle Hill Rsl Colourful Minds Market Colourful Minds MarketCastle Hill RSL Club is supporting the upcoming Colourful Minds Market to empower neurodiverse creators The Colourful Minds Market (CMM) is being held on Saturday, 26th October between 10am and 4pm in the Club’s Lyceum.

The one-of-a-kind event goes beyond being just another market—it’s about building a strong, inclusive community and offering a safe, welcoming space for neurodiverse individuals and those with lived experiences of chronic illness, disability, and mental health conditions to share, connect, and create.

Through ClubGRANTS, Castle Hill RSL is backing CMM as part of its ongoing efforts to support mental health and foster meaningful conversations.

The market aligns with the 2024 Mental Health Month theme “Let’s Talk About It,” providing a platform where attendees can participate in engaging activities designed to break the ice and make talking about mental health easier.

Created by 20-year-old Annelise, who founded “Emotional Support Buddies” after struggling to find traditional employment due to her anxiety, CMM reflects her Journey.

Annelise’s passion for mental health advocacy is evident in every aspect of the market. “We wanted to offer this opportunity to others who may face similar challenges,” said Annelise. “It’s about creating a space where people can grow, build confidence, and have positive experiences that they can draw on when they need to talk about their mental health.”

The aim is to help people practice talking and connecting in a low-pressure environment.

Since launching CMM, Annelise and co-organiser Nicole have been overwhelmed with interest and support. “This market isn’t just about shopping; it’s a community of like-minded people who have a space to be themselves and feel accepted for who they are and what they have to offer,” said Nicole.

The Colourful Minds Market is not just a venue; it’s a movement of inclusivity and community support. Annelise and Nicole’s vision of creating a market focused on positive mental health and community-building has already resonated with so many, and Castle Hill RSL is proud to help make it a reality.

With activities designed to practice open conversations and a focus on creating a safe and supportive environment, the Colourful Minds Market is set to be a landmark event in Castle Hill’s community calendar this October.
