Australia Day 2024 – Celebrate What Makes us Proud to be Australian

We live in one of the most safe, fair and free places in the world and we are lucky to do so. Australia Day is a day for all Australians to celebrate what is great about our nation.

It is a day for all of us to come together as equals and give thanks that we live in the greatest country on earth.

A perfect start to Australia Day, at the site of the Old Government Farm of the early British Colony in Sydney at Castle Hill Heritage Park. Beginning with the flag raising ceremony and ending with the classic BBQ breakfast enjoyed by a big attendance of keen locals.

Thank you to the Castle Hill Rotary Club for hosting this significant event.

It was a pleasure to also attend the Hills Shire Council’s Australia Day Citizenship Ceremony, congratulations to the 129 residents who took the pledge on this significant day, the 75th Anniversary of Australian Citizenship.
