Belinda Nadwie: Galston Artist

“I didn’t feel like I was living my purpose - but now I am!”

For Galston-based artist Belinda Nadwie, purpose is at the heart of what she does. She is well known for creating abstract work that traverses emotional, psychological and spiritual experiences. Belinda will be exhibiting at the upcoming The Other Art Fair Sydney. This year marks her sixth time exhibiting at the Fantastic Framing’s stand at the fair.

She has been a full-time artist now for eight years, but has always painted, even as a kid. Reflecting on her art, Belinda says: “You’re always evolving and my style is always evolving. I don’t want to be limited in my creativity and process”.

For the upcoming fair, she will be bringing a lot of her newer work including large works and some smaller paintings, all of which are mostly abstract and expressionist. By representing the purity of self-expression, her paintings offer a peaceful and natural respite from our fast-paced technological lives.

Belinda says: “I always try to create new artworks for people to enjoy at the show and I am looking forward to doing the same for this one!”

The Other Art Fair Sydney ran from the 3rd to the 6th of October at White Bay Cruise Terminal Sydney.
