Baulkham Hills Hawks Soar High
Baulkham Hills Hawks Junior AFL club is enjoying a tremendous 2024 AFL season, with the Under 13 Girls, Under 15 Girls, along with the Under 11 Tarrant heading straight through to the grand finals after fantastic wins last weekend in their semifinals.
In addition, the Baulkham Hills Under 12 Baker, Under 14 Abercrombie and the Western Sydney Joint Venture Under 17 teams will play qualifying finals this weekend for a spot in the grand finals.
The Under 11 Tarrant and Western Sydney Alliance JV teams are in the hunt for the rare double after winning the 2024 minor premierships this season.
It was also an emotional final home game last weekend for Baulkham Hills u17 Players, Conor Titterton, Evan Custovic, and Saleem Mangel, who are completing their junior AFL careers at the Hawks this season. They have proudly represented the club in the Western Sydney Alliance joint venture, which was formed with Hawks, Penrith Giants, and Hawkesbury Saints Junior AFL clubs for 2024. Since they turn 18 in the next year,
Conor, Evan, and Saleem will be leaving Baulkham Hills and moving to the senior grades next season. “We are very proud of all our teams who have played extremely well this season as we are celebrating two minor premierships,” Baulkham Hills Hawks president Kirsten Groll said. “A special mention goes to our dedicated coaches, managers, and parent volunteers who have all supported their teams and been a part of their success this season.
