Australia Day 2024 Flag Raising Ceremonies across the Hills
Four flag-raising ceremonies will be held across the Hills Shire on Australia Day, Friday, 26 January, 2024.
Down at Castle Hill, the Rotary Club of Castle Hill will host its ceremony from 8:00 AM until 9:00 at the Heritage Park on Heritage Park Drive.
Also in Castle Hill is the Joint Australia Day and India Republic Day Flag Raising Ceremony for the Community Foundation of North Western Sydney event, from 8:00 AM until 9:00 AM. It will be held at the Centenary of ANZAC Reserve, located at Corner Harrington Avenue and Wrights Road, Castle Hill.
The Rotary Club of Kenthurst will have its own from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM, followed by a morning tea at the John Benyon Rotary Park in Corner Kenthurst Road and Nelson Road, Kenthurst.
Lastly, the Annangrove Progress Association’s ceremony will be from 11:00 AM until 11:30 AM, followed by a barbecue.
In addition, the Hills Shire Council has organized two upcoming major local events to celebrate the important Australian holiday, one at Waves Fitness and Aquatic Centre in the morning and one at Bella Vista Farm in the evening.
