ART DEMONSTRATION

On Monday 8 October at 7.30pm Baulkham Hills Art Society will be holding their monthly demonstration at the Crestwood Community Centre (UBD 170 F3) Crestwood Drive.

THIS MONTH THE FEATURED artist is Mellissa Read-Devine, an artist from the Hawkesbury Art Trail who will create a vibrant impressionist floral landscape using acrylic paints in a semi abstract style.

Mellissa’s work ranges between vibrant still- lifes, textural abstracts and intricate linocuts. Her works have been displayed in public exhibitions, print exchange collections and galleries around Australia. Currently, Mellissa has a Wednesday morning class at the Royal Art Society.

Mellissa’s studio/gallery ‘The Idyll’ an artist’s retreat, is set amidst sandstone cliffs and bushland rich in birdlife – the beauty and tranquillity inspiring her artwork.
