The Easter Eggs have been eaten, the enjoyable ‘long weekend’ has also passed by and it’s back to life as we knew it before all-that-summertimefun came along.
At our last meeting Philomena Henriksson (our very generous machine-quilting AQ member) was presented with a lovely bouquet of flowers from the CWA ladies who had recently completed a Raffle Quilt (photo).
Made from lovely soft linen fabric this quilt will bring great pleasure to the “the lucky winner’ of their Raffle. Contact the CWA or look out for the CWA Raffle tickets in your area. Come and join us for a day, see what we do, visitors are always welcome!
Our group meets on the 1st, 3rd and 5th Wednesday of each month at 9.30 am. We meet at the Community Health Centre, The Glade, Galston. For further information please call Carole on 9894 7749.
