Quilting News: With Autumn upon us it’s certainly time to think of “quilts for warmth” as well as just the joy of owning a quilt.
April has presented Arcadian Quilters with the opportunity of giving 34 quilts to two of our charities, and in so doing, we have shared the joy and the warmth that a bright cheery quilt can bring to a home or to ‘new’ accommodation!!
The two charities in this case are – Assistance Dogs Australia and Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Women’s Shelter.

In this other photo BELLA, the ‘Ambassador Dog’ from Assist Dogs Aust whom we have met many times at our quilting meetings is showing how she ‘helps’ display the latest quilts given to this group.
In our experience we note that charity work connects amazing people; people who all work with a common goal in mind and that is to share the joy that Community connection can create!
