$17m investment in Hawkesbury projects from WestInvest
Almost $17 million will be Hawkesbury investment into four Hawkesbury projects from the NSW Government’s WestInvest Fund. The money is allocated as follows:
$5.4 million – Upgrade to Woodbury Reserve, Glossodia. The upgrades include a new playground, sports courts, carpark upgrade, a skate park and walking track
$4.6 million – Fernadell Park and Community Facility development project. This further funding follows $3.3 million that the NSW Government invested into this park’s improvements earlier this year
$4.5 million – Kurrajong to Kurmond Cycleway
$2.3 million – Getting around and discovering the Hawkesbury project. This includes destination signage for tourist attractions throughout Hawkesbury.
Hawkesbury City Council has recognised the importance of the Woodbury Reserve upgrade and Fernadell Park improvements and will invest $8.7 million towards these projects.
