Tash works with many artists from across the globe to produce songs that inspire, uplift the soul and stand for justice.

On Sunday, 6th November there will be a church Service with Rev Simon Hansford the Moderator of the Synod of New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory in the Uniting Church in Australia. It will be followed by morning tea with a celebration cake, and a special birthday lunch.

Wesley Castle Hill Uniting Church Minister Carmel Ieraci said an invitation was extended to all to join in the celebrations of a church on the Showground Rd site.

“There will be something for everyone at the concert. It’s a wonderful celebration of life in the community at Castle Hill.”

The church building was opened and dedicated at 32 Showground Road, Castle Hill on the 4th November 1972. At the time it was the Castle Hill Methodist Church which had been located at 268 Old Northern Road, Castle Hill.

The need to relocate to a new building in a new location was due to traffic noise, and parking problems.

The Church was opened by Sir Roden Cutler VC, Governor of NSW, and dedicated by Rev Keith Doust, President of the Methodist Conference of NSW.

In July 1977 Church Union in Australia saw the union of the Methodist , Presbyterian and Congregational Churches, forming the Uniting Church Australia.

There have been significant additions to the original Church building which now incorporate meeting rooms, a commercial kitchen, and more office space. Large lead light windows were made and donated in 1994 by the late Gunter and Angelika Kaminski.

The variety concert on Saturday, 5th November will start at 7pm. Tickets for the concert are $20 (no charge for children accompanying parents) and includes a light supper. Tickets will be available at the door on the night or by booking online at https:// events.humanitix.com/uniting-in-christ-wesleyanniversary- concert.
