Native Plant Giveaways – by appointment only

For those residents who reside within Hornsby Shire Council areas, they have opened their  Spring Native Plant Giveaway.

This time there will be five native plant giveaway events at Warada Ngurang Community Nursery in October and November.

Each residential property in Hornsby Shire is entitled to four free native plants per year.  To pick up your plants, please book an appointment to visit Warada Ngurang Community Nursery.  Council’s friendly staff and nursery volunteers will provide expert advice to assist you in selecting plants for your garden.

There will be a variety of native shrubs, groundcovers and trees to choose from.

Please bring along your rates notice or other document to verify you are a resident of Hornsby Shire.

To plant giveaway runs between Wednesday, 26 October 2022 – Saturday 12 November 2022
