Winterfest is Almost Here!
Hills to Hawkesbury Community News is delighted to announce the 4 winners of our Winterfest competition with a Family Day Pass to this exciting and adventurous event.
We asked entrants to tell us in 20 words or less why they wanted a family pass and why they wanted to visit this much-loved Festival.
Winterfest Sydney Medieval Fair thunders into life at Hawkesbury Showground this weekend. The event will run from 10 am to 5 pm each day and will feature jousting, archery, combat demonstrations.
From warriors on the battlefield to unicorns and mermaids, cooking demonstrations and trade displays from blacksmiths and more, there is something for everyone. Attendees are encouraged to dress in medieval costumes, with a chance to win a prize in a costume competition.
Winterfest is easy to get to, with free parking on site but public transport is encouraged with Clarendon railway station only two minutes’ walk away from the venue gates.
