Nominate a Local Volunteer for the 2025 NSW Volunteer of the Year Awards!

Volunteers are the backbone of our community, selflessly giving their time and energy to support others.

Whether it’s helping at local events, providing essential services, or supporting vulnerable groups, volunteers make a difference every day. Now is the time to recognise those who make a lasting impact by nominating them for the 2025 NSW Volunteer of the Year Awards.

This award program, run by The Centre for Volunteering, celebrates the dedication of volunteers across seven categories: Young Volunteer, Adult Volunteer, Senior Volunteer, Volunteer Team, Emergency Volunteer, Volunteer Leader, and the Not-for-Profit Voluntary Governance Award.

Nominate someone who exemplifies the spirit of volunteering and has shown exceptional commitment to their community. Volunteers can be recognised for their efforts in a local ceremony, with winners invited to the state ceremony later in the year.

Nominations are open until Friday 23 May 2025, so don’t miss the chance to show your appreciation. Visit the Centre for Volunteering’s website to submit your nomination and ensure that your local heroes get the recognition they deserve.

For more information and to nominate, visit https://www.volunteering.com.au/awards.
